Users can use Altera EP1810LI-45(PLCC) in place of unavailable PGA EP1810LI-45 M
EAGAN, MN. February, 2003 Ironwood Electronics new PC-PLCC_PGA-EP1810-S-01 allows users to use Altera EP1810 devices in PCBs designed for PGA devices no longer available. This allows use of the same PCB without modification thus saving redesign cost and production shutdown when using these devices. The device is constructed with PLCC pads on top for mounting the EP1810 PLD. The PC-PLCC_PGA-EP1810-S-01 is then installed into the PGA pattern and soldered. The EP1810LI-45 is 68 pin 1.27mm pitch PLCC and it replaces the EP1810LI-45 in a PGA68 with a 11x11 array on 2.54mm centers. The PC-PLCC_PGA-EP1810-S-01 uses gold plated pins so that it can be reliably socketed or soldered into the target PCB.
