EAGAN, MN. – November, 2005 – Ironwood Electronics’ PB-BGA-MPC5554-S-01 Logic Analyzer Adapter which allows high-speed operation of Freescale MPC5554 Systems while analyzing with a Logic Analyzer. Features of the PB-BGA-MPC5554-S-01 include shortest possible trace length for maximum speed, low inductance, low capacitance, and gold plated pins for probe headers. This adapter is designed to interface with 1 mm pitch Ball Grid Array packages of the MPC5554.

Ironwood’s PB-BGA-MPC5554-S-01Logic Analyzer Adapter is used in conjunction with the SF-BGA416E-B-42 SMT Adapter. The SMT adapter is soldered to the target system board in place of MPC5554 416 pin BGA on the target board using standard BGA soldering methods. The MPC5554 is soldered to the PB-BGA-MPC5554-S-01. The probe board plugs into the BGA SMT adapter and employs a PCB all data, address, control, and clock signals to 2.54mm pitch gold plated headers.
